Homework: Tuesday, Oct. 13

We have a short week of classroom instruction due to the field trip to the Lincoln Park Zoo on Wednesday. Please make sure that permission slips have been turned in so that everybody can attend.

For tonight's homework, we are working on ratio tables, where we scale up or down the ratio in the scenario to get to our given output ratio. Please see the examples on pages 40, 41, & 42 for guidance. The most complicated problems are the ones where you need to simplify the ratio before you can scale back up. Going from 15 to 50 might fit this case...divide 15 by 3 to get 5, then multiply by 10 to get to 50.
