This week are focusing on the relationships between Percents, Fractions, and Decimals. We will be working on a percent based art math project on Tuesday and Wednesday, and will be tackling our first Math in the City: Architecture exploration on Thursday and Friday.

For Social Studies, we are analyzing evidence about the early stages of agriculture and animal domestication (roughly 12,000 years ago) so that we can write informed essays about agriculture's positive and negative affect on humans. We will be discussing primary and secondary sources, scientific data and archeological artifacts as we figure out the different parts of this topic.
