We are about to begin the tenth week of the school year, and the final week of the first quarter! Time seems to be flying by so far this year. There is no math homework this weekend, but there is a lot to do for social studies. We have an essay due on Tuesday to wrap up our unit on the role that the development of agriculture had on early humans. We have been analyzing sources and finding evidence for the past few weeks, and this essay will be the final assessment of the unit.

Social Studies Homework: Continue to work on your essay about the role of agriculture on early human societies. The essay is due on Tuesday and will be an important grade for the quarter.

A google.docs template has been posted on Ms. Glassco's blog, which students can use to guide and build their essay. Please be sure to work hard on the different parts of this essay and be sure to list evidence from our sources and to cite them. In many cases, you can use data and ideas directly from our graphic organizers for our three supporting questions.
