Math Homework: Box Plots, or Box-and-Whisker Plots

handout pg. 152

Remember to use your notes regarding the 5 parts of a box plot: minimum, maximum, median (middle number), Q1 and Q3. The Q1 and Q3 are the 'median' points of the first half of the data points, and last half of the data points. The median of the entire data set could also be considered the Q2 point of the data.

Social Studies Homework:

Color outline the 16 labeled countries on the geography map handout. of the Mediterranean Sea region of Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Find one detail for each of those 16 countries online, specifically related to the physical geography of that country (rivers, mountains, deserts, etc). Write those details on the back of the map or on another sheet of paper - be sure to link each detail to the proper country.

Study for the quiz on these countries which will given on Wednesday.
