As of today, half of our school year is complete! It's going fast and all of our students have done some impressive work. I hope you're all looking forward to a very interesting and productive second half.
This week in Math, we are focusing on finding and solving percent problems. The homework will support what we are practicing in class, but remember that you can use several strategies to solve percent problems (proportions, ratio tables, double number lines, simplified fractions).
Math Homework: Handout, pg. 133. Solve all problems on pg. 133 and show your work.
You do not have to do pg. 132.
Continue to work on ThinkThroughMath. Remember, three lessons must be PASSED per week. Attempted lessons will not help improve your grade, only passed lessons.
Social Studies:
Continue researching for your Chicago History Fair project topic and sources. You will have to choose your topic idea on Tuesday, so make sure you have one that you're interested in learning more about. Our sources will be due later in the week.
