Math Homework:
Textbook, pgs. 158-159, all problems. Please use your class notes on how to set up proportions, and show your proportion and steps for each problem. You can use a calculator for the cross-product (multiplication) and the division. Remember the formula: part/whole = percent/100
ThinkThroughMath and Khan Academy update:
I've just set up accounts for all students on Khan Academy, which is a great website for learning new math skills and practicing the concepts we've been studying in class. The account user names and passwords are the same as they are for TTM, with the only change being that the Khan passwords have 2 exclamation points added to the end. Students are now allowed to choose which program they'd like to use for their weekly lesson requirement. At this point, it looks like the requirement will be to successfully complete 6 lessons in Khan Academy for each week (or to pass 3 lessons in TTM). The lesson sequence and requirements may adjust as students adapt to the newer program.
