We had a pretty great day today at school with both a concert in the auditorium and the Ray Walk-a-thon in the afternoon. Thanks to all the parents and volunteers for making it happen, and to the students for being very responsible and safe throughout the activities and schedule shifts!

This coming week we will take our Spring NWEA MAP Math and Reading tests. This test is pretty important for our students and for our school with respect to promotion out of 6th grade, and for the Ray school rating. The tests will be on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, with make-ups later in the week. I believe that all of our students are very well prepared for the test, but it is very important that everyone is well-rested and doing their best on those days. Please get plenty of rest this weekend and come in on Monday with a great big smile and a positive outlook for the week!
