Progress reports were given out at the end of the day on Friday.

Parents & Guardians - please be sure to look over the grades, sign the bottom portion of the form, and bring it back to school on Tuesday.

Update: This is a three-day weekend due to the holiday. However, it is possible that there will be work stoppage on Tuesday, pending negotiations between the CTU and School Board. Please continue to check the Ray and CPS websites for updates regarding this situation.

IMPORTANT: All students home with a packet of 6th grade math work, pgs. 67-90. In the event of a work stoppage, I am hopeful that students will be able to complete one page per day in this packet. It will serve several purposes: 1) keeping students actively participating in solving math problems, 2) having them grapple with some new ideas that we can build upon, 3) IMPROVE their current math grade.

PLEASE make sure that this packet stays in their math folder and is not lost. When we do return to school, we will be using these packets for classwork and homework!

Khan Academy: It is a good idea for students to continue using Khan Academy for Math practice while at home. I recommend that they spend about 90 per week working on Khan, and practicing their skills. This is another great way to stay focused on learning and bring up any grades that are too low.
