Homework: Friday, Sept. 13

We've had a pretty great start to the school year, and are now starting to settle into our daily routines. Typically, homework will be assigned several times during the week, and we will try to keep it consistent with respect to the different subjects.

The homework this weekend is as follows:

Language Arts (due Monday): Complete the Seedfolks 'character traits' page for either Ana or Wendell (started during class today). This should be similar to the page that we did together in class for Kim from Chapter 1. (I've posted a link to the text of the novel on the previous blogpost.)

Math (due Monday): Finish pgs. 25 & 26 from the workbook (this work was partially completed for Friday)

Writing (due Tuesday): Write a narrative about the talking piece that you brought in for our circle time meetings. It should be about 250 words in length, can be handwritten or typed (and printed out), and should be about how and why this particular item is important to you.
